• Instructs patients in the collection of specimens as necessary.
• May enter pathology specimens into computerized information systems and assist with preparation and staining of cytology specimens.
• Performs tasks in all laboratory areas under supervision, with knowledge of relevant procedures.
• Performs waived tests and assists in other testing platforms under technical oversight.
• Participates in quality control and performance improvement activities.
