Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of UnitedHealth Group, invites applications for a Phlebotomist to join our Houston-based laboratory team. You will perform venipunctures for pediatric and adult patients, conduct CLIA waived tests, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain BLS within 30 days of employment.
• KSC review/skill validation within 90 days of hire.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience OR 3+ years related experience with waived testing.
• Experience with Windows-based software.
• English proficiency and good customer service

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult venipunctures, finger sticks, heel sticks and other collection services.
• Perform CLIA waived testing with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records for inspections and audits.
• Perform quality controls and proficiency testing as required.
• Maintain lab instruments and follow safety guidelines.
