Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association; must obtain within 30 days.
• Phlebotomy program completion or 1 year of directly related experience.
• Ability to use related equipment.
• Experience with computers and Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures for pediatric and adult patients.
• Perform CLIA waived tests (urine dip, pregnancy tests, finger stick glucose, etc.).
• Maintain accurate laboratory records for inspections/audits.
• Perform quality controls and follow safety guidelines.
• Includes all duties of Patient Services Technician I.
