Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytical specimen receipt, processing, identification verification and specimen storage.
• Operates centrifuge and pneumatic tube systems, enters information and test orders into the lab system.
• Provides training to others.
• Performs phlebotomy on inpatient floors and may draw outpatients off-hours.
• Manages supply ordering and inventory.
