• Explain specimen collection procedures to patients, nurses, physicians, etc.
• Perform patient EKGs and travel to off-site locations as needed.
• Maintain inventory and proper stock levels in collection areas.
• Register patients in information systems and order tests as requested.
• Print, monitor and distribute patient reports when applicable.
• Follow QA/QI guidelines to meet accreditation standards.
