Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special laboratory specimen collections.
• Label specimens and ensure correct container, volume, and patient instructions.
• Explain collection procedures to patients, nurses, physicians, etc.
• May perform patient EKGs and travel to off-site locations as needed.
• Maintain inventory and reporting for quality assurance and accreditation.
