Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Lab Support Technician (LST I) to support reports, data and scheduling within the laboratory, delivering accurate, timely service in line with Mercy Signature Service.

The role requires specimen collection, processing, transport and referrals, adherence to HIPAA, and a commitment to customer service for both internal teams and patients in a full-time 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or enrolled in healthcare career program.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in acquisition of laboratory specimens for testing.
• Process, transport and refer specimens and reports as required.
• Provide accurate, timely laboratory support and ensure HIPAA confidentiality.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with Mercy standards.
