Mercy is seeking a Lab Support Technician (LST I) at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. This role supports the lab's reports, data and scheduling functions, providing accurate, timely, and professional laboratory support with a strong focus on customer service and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Probationary period must be successfully completed.
• No active disciplinary actions or active performance improvement plans.
• Preferred: College level Chemistry, Biology or other Science courses.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide accurate, timely, and effective laboratory support.
• Collect and handle specimens using safe, professional methods.
• Process, transport, and refer specimens and reports as required.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality in all interactions.
