Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• Phlebotomy or Lab Specimen training program (Preferred).
• Direct patient care and/or phlebotomy experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates accuracy in laboratory specimen collection and handling per orders.
• Maintains a safe environment by complying with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with providers, office staff, nurses, and care givers involved in patient care.
• Complies with QA/QI programs and accreditation standards (CAP, DNV, CLIA).
• Performs effective intradepartmental and interdepartmental communications.
