• Performs phlebotomy, processes patient specimens and performs patient registration.
• Utilizes Laboratory computer system.
• Prepares specimens to be sent to reference laboratories.
• Maintains department inventory and operates and maintains equipment.
• Performs various clerical duties.
• Adheres to patient identification, laboratory safety, and department policies and procedures.
• Promotes teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
