Responsibilities

• Wears appropriate PPE and maintains cleanliness in work area.
• Demonstrates appropriate customer service skills for laboratory communication.
• Maintains proficiency in systems for patient registration and test orders.
• Performs specimen collection by venipuncture and fingerstick.
• Registers Outreach specimens according to procedures.
• Maintains departmental supplies and inventory.
• Responsible for training of new employees and maintaining competencies.
