Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to oversee day-to-day phlebotomy, specimen processing, and the laboratory office, including reference labs. You will staff and train SPD and phlebotomy staff and perform venipuncture across age groups in outpatient settings.

The role requires an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), 1–2 years of related experience (3–5 years preferred), and Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associates Degree; Preferred: Bachelors Degree in science or health-care related field
• Minimum Experience: 1-2 years; Preferred: 3-5 years in job-related roles
• Licensure/Certifications: Required: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of phlebotomy, specimen processing, laboratory office and reference lab specimens
• Staffing and training of SPD and phlebotomy staff
• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and skin puncture across age groups; collect non-blood specimens (urine, throat, nasal swabs) in outpatient settings
• Perform phlebotomy collection, specimen processing, point-of-care testing and lab office duties in line with accreditation standards
