Job summary

Midlands Technical College Airport Campus seeks a faculty member to supervise students in the phlebotomy open lab and provide instructional support. You will supervise practice, reinforce safety standards, and coach students to improve competency and confidence.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Technician program with at least 3 years of work experience.
• Associates degree with prior higher education teaching experience.
• National certification in phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students as they practice phlebotomy skills and provide coaching.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and reinforce safety and infection-control standards.
• Provide feedback to improve student competency and confidence.
• Manage student attendance and monitor lab equipment and supplies.
• Communicate student progress or concerns to program leadership.
• Travel to other campuses within the service area as needed.
