Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories seeks a Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist to work independently with minimal supervision. Compensation depends on modalities performed; successful candidates may advance through CLA levels. Regular in-person attendance during scheduled hours is essential.

Shifts include weekends and holidays with coverage as needed. Northside location; on-site role requiring basic PC skills and professional communication.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; PBT ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant or comparable program.
• Eligible to work in a health care facility in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains supplies and inventory necessary to perform departmental functions.
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed.
• Demonstrates professional judgment when dealing with clients, patients, and co-workers.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
