Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Formal phlebotomy training with certification or comparable program certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies during off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Collect venous and capillary blood specimens, and nasal swabs.
• Interact effectively with neonatal to geriatric patients and adapt to individual needs.
• Communicate with reference laboratory and manage reports and data.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of phlebotomy work areas and equipment.
• Weekend and overtime coverage as needed; support varying shifts.
