Responsibilities

• Prepare patient specimens for testing with emphasis on preanalytic and post-analytic processes.
• Enter patient demographics and test orders into lab information systems accurately and timely.
• Perform blood collection (phlebotomy) for 25%+ of hours.
• Maintain Henry Ford Standards of Excellence and provide exceptional customer service.
• Review lab request forms for complete data and ensure specimen integrity.
