• Receives and screens specimens for acceptability per guidelines.
• Delivers blood products to Surgery and surgical specimens to appropriate sections.
• Processes, distributes or packages all specimens received (except Anatomic Pathology samples).
• Handles inquiries for lab results, specimen status and general information.
