Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform sample collection, venipuncture, and initial specimen processing in accordance with CLSI/CLIA standards and Piedmont policies.

Qualifications

• GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification (CPT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens following Piedmont policies and procedures.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
