Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories in Española is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist to work with minimal supervision across multiple modalities. The role includes on‑call duties during scheduled hours and participation in weekend/holiday coverage; compensation depends on modalities performed.

Required are a HS diploma (or equivalent) and preferred PBT/ASCP certification, with completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant program.

• Completion of Clinical Lab Assistant program or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain supplies and inventory for departmental functions
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed
• Handle hospital communication and on‑call responsibilities
• Maintain confidentiality of personal and confidential information
• Assist with on-call coverage and holidays/weekends as needed
• Perform clerical tasks and document critical communications
