Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) within 6 months of hire or Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certificate (Washington) within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection and processing for lab testing.
• Computer data entry and retrieval: accession specimens and enter results.
• Other duties: performance improvement activities, maintenance, waived testing, EKG testing, teaching phlebotomy students.
• Technical resource: resolve pre-analytical questions and assist in updating procedure manuals.
