Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field from a regionally accredited college.
• Experience teaching college level courses preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and be available to students during the contract period.
• Prepare syllabi, course outlines (if necessary) and related instructional materials.
• Manage set up of lab supplies and room arrangement prior to each class.
• Maintain student records, including attendance and grades.
• Participate in orientation and faculty meetings as requested; participate in student retention activities.
• Promote college educational programs and services to the communities served by WNC.
