Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist Group Lead in Huntsville, AL, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The pay range is $24.85+ per hour, with potential annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include leading daily PSC/IOP phlebotomy activities, coaching staff, and ensuring accurate patient data and timely processing across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Seven years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver license if applicable.
• Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders and patient demographics using lab systems.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Assist with onboarding new staff and coaching on-site.
