Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic knowledge of arrhythmias and blood drawing education.
• 1 year of prior ECG experience or ECG/Medical Assistant training.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds on nursing care units to draw blood and perform ECGs as assigned.
• Clean and restock ECG carts and prepare phlebotomy trays after shift and as needed.
• Draw blood from patients of all ages using proper aseptic techniques.
• Perform and process ECGs on patients from newborn to geriatric.
• Document and report equipment issues and supply needs in a timely manner.
