Qualifications

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma or GED, and completion of one of the listed programs.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and strong teamwork.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of entering position.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age-appropriate criteria and safety.
• Communicate patient status with RN and health care team.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens as directed.
• Take vital signs and document findings in patient records.
• Assist with admissions, procedures, and daily patient care tasks.
• Ensure equipment readiness and clean environment for patient care.
