Job summary

Qualifications

CNA Certification or currently enrolled in School of Nursing who has completed basic clinical rotations.
CPR recognition by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
Minimum of 90% on annual mandatory Health and Safety Training quizzes.
Unit based recognition for Capillary Blood Glucose Monitoring.

Responsibilities

Direct patient care activities including admission, transfer, discharge, vitals, and input/output.
Assists RN with direct and indirect patient care and patient comfort on the unit.
Transports patients and equipment, responds to call lights, and supports safety and infection-control practices.
