Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood collection and donor procedures in accordance with FDA and AABB standards. You will obtain donor histories, ensure safety, and maintain professional interactions with all customers.

The role requires phlebotomy skills, attention to safety protocols, and clear communication. Vitals collection and donor recruitment support are included as part of the duties in a mobile/unit environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with recruitment of potential apheresis, and bone marrow donors.
