Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promotes an engaged and positive environment among the laboratory team.
• Specimen collection (blood, urine, throat, and nasopharyngeal).
• Verifies patient identity using two patient identifiers.
• Maintains a clean and injury-free environment by following safety and pathogen protocols.
• Accurately interprets physician orders and follows procedures with proper documentation.
• Adheres to AIDET practices for excellent customer service.
• Performs waived and non-waived testing according to policy and procedures.
• Provide guidance for new employees/students per training checklists.
• Displays leadership and strong work ethic in a team-based setting.
• Follows regulatory guidelines including Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA.
