Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services is seeking a Laboratory Assistant 2 to support a wide range of lab services and patient care. The role includes specimen collection, phlebotomy, reception duties, and coordinating ordering, scheduling, and billing processes.

You will work with hospital and clinic teams to ensure accurate testing, proper specimen handling, and efficient workflow, contributing to high-quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles.
• Strong organizational skills to meet time-sensitive requests.
• Experience in a medical field or applied science is desirable.
• Ascp certification for phlebotomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of laboratory services including specimen collection.

• Perform laboratory testing and phlebotomy.
• Dispatch, process specimens, and ensure efficient workflow.
