Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in similar roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register and route patients/specimens in the LIS system with accurate physician orders.
• Prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities to ensure patient care.
• Complete tasks promptly and meet deadlines for required QA and proficiency tasks.
• Ensure proper handling of specimens and timely delivery to the appropriate department.
• Maintain compliance and complete required training and safety programs.
