Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.

Responsibilities

• Greet, receive, and register laboratory and pathology patients/specimens into the computer system with accurate interpretation of physician orders.
• Ensure timely processing of office procedures such as order scanning and related duties.
• Instruct patients on pre-test preparation and requirements for procedures.
• Receive specimens and deliver them to the proper department promptly.
• Maintain compliance and complete paperwork for patient registration per policy.
• Participate in the laboratory QA program and uphold safety and OSHA regulatory requirements.
