Qualifications

• Current certification as a phlebotomist (NHA , ASCP , etc.)
• Two years of direct patient care as a phlebotomist
• Combination of education and industry credentials to demonstrate content expertise
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Commitment to community college philosophy and student success

Responsibilities

• Teach developmental and/or college-level courses, including distance-learning options
• Possibly remote instruction; primarily face-to-face instruction
• Hold review, remediation and office hour sessions for students
• Maintain participation and performance records for students
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment
• Respond timely to student, staff and partner inquiries and report incidents
