Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture blood collection across age groups and to prepare specimens for testing. You will maintain accurate patient and specimen logs while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma and relevant phlebotomy training; National Phlebotomy Certification is preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required, with standard weekday shifts and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• National Phlebotomy Certification preferred or able to sit for exam.
• Prior phlebotomy experience or completion of a certified phlebotomy program with healthcare exposure preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture for all age groups.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Perform clerical duties as necessary.
