- Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Perform clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred
- Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred
- Moderate knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
- Ability to perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups
- Ability to prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Ability to maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Ability to travel to additional sites when needed
- Ability to work Monday–Friday scheduled 8-hour shifts varying between 7:00am–6:00pm, with rotating Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm
