Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain biological specimens and ensure high-quality samples for testing. The role requires courtesy and professionalism in every patient encounter and adherence to lab protocols.

The position involves venipuncture, capillary, and heel-stick procedures across ages, inventory management, LIS use, and active participation in the lab quality program. Travel to multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with specialized phlebotomy training.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in an acute care facility.
• Phlebotomy certification from NPA or ASCP, or eligible; BLS CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine and perform venipuncture, capillary, and heel-stick procedures as needed.
• Maintain laboratory supplies inventory and order tests in LIS as requested by providers.
• Verify patient identification and demographic information; support patient registration.
• Assist in maintaining an efficient laboratory workflow and participate in training.
