Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood collections in a fast-paced setting. You will identify patients, collect specimens, and label accurately, while ensuring specimen integrity.

The role includes training new employees and phlebotomy students, with hours Monday through Friday from 2pm to 6pm as a 20 hour FTE. Broadlawns values service excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills including venipuncture and specimen labeling.
• Certification in phlebotomy or completed on-the-job training.
• Experience in a regulated clinical laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify identity while collecting samples.
• Perform blood draws, heel sticks, and special collections as needed.
• Maintain specimen integrity and accurate labeling.
• Assist with training new staff and phlebotomy students.
• Complete end-of-shift duties and keep work areas clean.
