Qualifications

• Vocational/technical degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, Paramedic or EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and document specimens per procedures.
• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks as required on diverse patient age groups.
• Register and order entry procedures with accuracy and timeliness.
• Label specimens and prepare for courier pickup.
• Maintain proper documentation and quality control for specimens.
• Communicate and troubleshoot specimen issues with team and physicians.
