Strong communication and computer skills are essential as you enter patient and insurance data and support the claims process. The role requires flexibility to rotate shifts to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited agency for Phlebotomy
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• New grads are welcome; phlebotomy experience and computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high level service to all patient stations for blood sample procurement.
• Perform limited lab procedures at planting, expediting and reference lab stations.
• Answer directed calls for orders, patient results and add-on tests; register specimens and initiate claims as needed
