Millennium Health in Toledo, Ohio is hiring a Full Time Specimen Collector Phlebotomist to join our accredited specialty laboratory. You will collect blood, urine, and oral fluid specimens, and serve as the liaison between clinics and laboratory with accurate record-keeping.

Ideal candidates are certified phlebotomists with 1+ year of field experience, strong customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to use smartphones and computers.

Qualifikationen

• Certified phlebotomist with 1+ year of field experience.
• 6+ months as a specimen collector or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Aufgaben

• Collect patient blood, urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen/billing issues in ordering portal.
• Maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens where applicable.
• Travel to multiple facilities as needed.
