Responsibilities

• Collect pathology specimens at ambulatory care centers.
• Register, process, and allocate laboratory specimens and orders.
• Verify proper patient/specimen identification and appropriateness of orders.
• Organize workflow and prioritize processing and preparation of specimens for transport.
• Label and package specimens to ensure specimen integrity for courier delivery.
• Perform POCT and document routine maintenance and quality control procedures.
