Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist Rover to support sites in Waukegan and neighboring communities. You will collect blood samples, enter patient data accurately and ensure quality specimen handling while delivering excellent patient service.

This role involves travel to multiple locations, shift variations, and full-time hours with benefits. A phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation are important.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
