Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Rover to join our team across several Illinois sites, including Waukegan, Round Lake Beach, Libertyville, North Chicago and Zion. The role involves blood collection, customer service, data entry and occasional travel to client offices.

Typical schedule includes varied shifts; pay range is $17.75 to $24.50 per hour. Benefits and incentive programs are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
