Job summary

Labcorp in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Per Diem/Casual Phlebotomist to join our team. Hours are as needed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, not exceeding 19 hours per week. The role involves blood collection, specimen processing, and data entry with travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, or 6 months of phlebotomist experience. Strong customer service and reliability are essential.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months as phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
