Job summary

Labcorp in New Port Richey, Florida is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for testing, and provide superior patient service in a Patient Service Center or client office.

This role features a flexible AS NEEDED schedule (not exceeding 19 hours per week) with potential for growth within Labcorp, and eligibility for the PST Incentive Plan bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Education
