Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN in New Port Richey, FL. Schedule: Monday-Friday, AS NEEDED-Variable (not to exceed 19 hours per week). You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests and maintain accurate data entry, with opportunity for growth.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and flexibility with travel to additional sites as needed. PST incentive may apply based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience)
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs for patient and specimen data
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required
• Maintain readiness and accuracy in all documentation and records
