Geisinger Primary Care Lock Haven is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team and support high-quality laboratory services across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will perform venipunctures and skin punctures, label and process specimens, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate, timely patient testing while upholding Geisinger’s values of kindness, excellence, and safety.

The role aligns with a day shift, 36 hours weekly, and opportunities for growth and ASCP certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Related work experience required.
• ASCP certified Phlebotomy Technician certification preferred/supported.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood specimens.
• Label, accession, and process specimens according to CLSI guidelines.
• Ensure specimen quality and proper handling; collaborate with clinical staff.
• Mentor students and new employees; participate in competency activities.
