Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician by a recognized board.
• At least 1 year of hospital-based phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and microcollection.
• Ensure timely, high-quality specimen collection, processing, and distribution.
• Accurately enter and maintain patient and specimen data in the LIS.
• Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Serve as a Senior Phlebotomist when needed, providing guidance and support to peers.
• Participates in teaching and training of new employees and students as assigned.
