Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our dynamic laboratory team in Atlanta. You will perform venipuncture and microcollection, ensure accurate data entry in the LIS, and conduct POC testing in alignment with CLSI guidelines.

The role also supports peers as a Senior Phlebotomist when needed. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, is a certified Phlebotomy Technician (NHA), and has at least one year of hospital phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification as Phlebotomy Technician (NHA) is required.
• At least one year of hospital-based phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and microcollection with precision.
• Enter and maintain patient and specimen data in the LIS.
• Perform Point-of-Care testing per guidelines.
• Serve as Senior Phlebotomist when needed and guide peers.
