Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to support plasma donation processes and ensure a safe, comfortable donor experience. You’ll welcome donors, guide them through venipuncture and plasmapheresis, and uphold quality care in a regulated center.

You will monitor donor well-being, operate donation equipment, maintain a clean environment, and collaborate with a team focused on safety, accuracy, and donor satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California).
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Educate donors on the donation process, center policies, and compensation.
• Greet donors and introduce the process to establish trust.
• Perform venipuncture procedures following SOPs and collect volumes.
• Monitor donor well-being and respond to adverse reactions.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment; report malfunctions.
• Set up plasma donation machines and respond to alarms.
• Label test samples and follow NAT testing protocols.
• Keep donor floor stocked with supplies; maintain cleanliness.
• Record donor data and incidents in the donor information system.
• Address donor concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support donor flow and alert management to bottlenecks.
• Prepare center for audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Uphold data integrity and confidentiality of donor information.
