KingRecruitingServices in Baltimore, MD is seeking a contract Phlebotomist to support a fast-paced laboratory. The role requires performing blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and data recording, with attention to OSHA/DEP rules.

Training and workflow recommendations are also part of the job. The candidate must have 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, be able to work from 8:30am-5pm with one Saturday per month, and hold a valid phlebotomy certification where required.

Competenze

• 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience with venipuncture in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed, as required in some states.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Ensure test requisitions match scripts for 100% accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
