Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative
Contract Duration: 1 Month
Pay Range: $18 - $21/hr
Location: Manahawkin, NJ
Work Type: Onsite, 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7 am - 2:30 pm, rotation Saturday 7 am - 11 am
Job Description:
- The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, whether for routine health checks or important health decisions.
- The PSR I draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing, following established procedures.
- Creates a trusting environment by explaining procedures clearly and drawing blood safely and accurately.
- Demonstrates leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily activities accurately and on schedule under supervisor guidance.
- Maintain a safe, professional environment.
- Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens confidently, following procedures.
- Keep required records and documentation.
- Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
Work Experience:
- At least 6 months of experience.
- Over 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience required.
