Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Contract Duration: 1 Month

Pay Range: $18 - $21/hr

Location: Manahawkin, NJ

Work Type: Onsite, 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7 am - 2:30 pm, rotation Saturday 7 am - 11 am

Job Description:

• The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, whether for routine health checks or important health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing, following established procedures.
• Creates a trusting environment by explaining procedures clearly and drawing blood safely and accurately.
• Demonstrates leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on schedule under supervisor guidance.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment.
• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens confidently, following procedures.
• Keep required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Work Experience:

• At least 6 months of experience.
• Over 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
